A bill of materials would indeed be awesome.  In fact, one of the best projects I have ever seen was one where the author actually diagrammed how to rip the plywood rather than leaving it to the reader to determine the cuts. . . most likely with more waste.

I love your site John, I am going to build the super sled with my new x-mass gift, a new sawstop professional table saw . . .I guess I was a very good boy this year

John: I am a brand new woodworker living in Toronto. I found your site by looking for the lock mitre setup through google. I am more interested in the motorized router now. The info you show is great and helpful. There is room for improvement in 100% of what we do every day but you have a great platform. I know this stuff does not create itself so be pleased with your efforts.

I look forward to reviewing your site extensively and converting an image into a reality. Now I have to look through the weekly flyers to find a cheap cordless drill which is pretty easy!! Oh ya, I need to find some skill too.
Thanks, Dave

Very good point indeed.  You'll notice that my more recent projects have measured drawings / or plans.  My goal is to eventually have drawings / plans or video on all the projects, but as you can imagine, that task is pretty time consuming.

I created the vote feature on this site, so viewers could vote on which missing components they would like to have added (look for the Vote button next to the Video, Gallery, or File Download).  I think this is a good way for me to prioritize which items to do first.

So go vote for what's missing...and you'll see that it does matter.

Thanks for commenting.
